Downers Grove North vs. Glenbard East 04.01.2009

I’ve been anticipating the warm weather for many reasons. Shooting baseball being one of them. This varsity game between the Glenbard East Rams and the Downers Grove North Trojans was originally scheduled to be played in Lombard, but when I arrived at the Rams’ home field, my foot sank about 4 inches into the infield dirt. I figured it was canceled, but I headed over to Legion field just for the hell of it, just in case they were playing. Lucky for me, I got to shoot and had a great time capturing these images. This is my first baseball shoot with my 70-200 f/2.8 and I think the results were great. I didn’t bring my WhiBal so I manually white balanced. I think the images came out pretty good.
